Leadership And Management Training

Professional Development for After School Directors that Satisfies Training Requirements

This training allows After-School Directors to meet the School-Age Child Care (SACC) state licensing regulations while developing personal and professional skills to maintain a high-quality environment for children and families.

The regulations state

  • Directors will not have their permits renewed unless they have documentation proving they personally have had the required training.
  • Every licensed/permit child care program must be inspected before each license renewal.
  • The DOH is now following up with any training organization offering certificates to verify that trainers are legitimate.
  • With stricter mandates, your program is at risk for fines or being shut down.

This is a Two-Part series covering all of the topic areas required by the Office of Children and Family Services and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
