Manuel Lopez joined Dignity of Children, Inc. in October 2019 as the events coordinator and writing specialist. As a first-generation American who has witnessed the inequity in education firsthand, Manuel is passionate about breaking down class, race, and cultural barriers to education and the arts. In his career, he strives to exemplify and contribute to cultures of growth and success. He has 3 years of experience as a primary Alzheimer’s care giver. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Brown University, where he graduated in 2016. He has since served as a personal tutor to college and high school students, as well as an outdoor skating coach to children and families.
